They are decorated with extensive rambling roses, as well as many other roses. The garden also features old yews and some borders. Steep site set in limestone cliff means demanding walking. History: This is a castellated Elizabethan house with thick stone walls. The gardens first laid out in 17th Century, but the neo-Tudor gardens were re-constructed in the 20th century.
