 Description of Garden
Designer:
This garden is now in its prime having been created from the jungle by the present owners over the past 28 years. Everything has been planted since then around some magnificent trees, three ponds and a stream running through the garden.
The pleached Lime walk runs down the Herbaceous Borders - which are edged by many different varieties of Hosta. In the walled garden are a mass of of delphiniums and peonies, together with a large culinary and medicinal garden. Also there is a Wild Flower meadow and yellow and white rose garden, not forgetting the 20-acre wood and lakes. A truly peaceful and magical place to visit on our perfect summer's day!
 History of Garden
Our Herb Garden was designed by Lucy Huntingdon.

Tania Compton designed part of our second go at the Herbaceous Borders - very successfully.

The remainder has all been done 'in-house', mainly by the previous Head Gardener - Robin Mason and currently by his successor - Linette Applegate.
