 Description of Garden
Designer:
A fairly mild coastal garden 20 miles south of Oban in Argyll. It has a wonderful collection of rhododendrons, azaleas, magnolias, camellias and many other trees and shrubs. There is also an extensive range of perennials
and water plants and a large collection of ferns.
 History of Garden
The gardens were begun in 1898 and developed by three generations of Campbells. The property was bought in 1971 by the two Wright brothers from Essex, who restored the garden and presented it to the National Trust for Scotland in 1992
